4 Words Daily – The beginning: Day 1

So, finally, it’s time to adhere to what I promised myself and to the world of great people out there. Four words daily, with definitions, to help you (and me) in our writings.

“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts” – Eleanor Roosevelt

  • Ventriloquist:  A performer/entertainer who is able to speak in such a way that    makes it appear words are coming from a dummy.
  • Soliloquy:  A long speech character in a play makes to an audience revealing the thoughts.
  • Musard: A dreamer, a fool, an idler (borrowed from French, but now obsolete)
  • Obsolete: No longer in use.

List of previous 4 Words:

  • Lackadaisical
  • Bigotry
  • La Dolce Vita
  • Dogma

Here’s to the beginning. Cheers 🥂
